On of the most beautiful hikes in the Alps, not difficult
Aug 2020
You get a wonderful view on one of the most beautiful regions of the Alps, called the Empire Crown (around Matterhorn). The thing that makes the hike so special is that at the same time, you explore the Solar System (the monuments representing the planets and the comets are precisely scaled at 1:1000000000). Just be careful if you do this in winter, the last stretch towards Pluto may be a little dangerous.

Amazing place of the world
Oct 2018 • Couples
A short tour for 4 days at Saint Luc valley was the most unforgetable time in Switzeland. So many places to discover and so short time to experiences all place. But generally, this is the most beautiful place that i have ever seen. Highly recommended.

Super sculptures in fabulous landscape
Feb 2019 • Couples
Having ridden up on the Tignousa Funicular we headed for the Planetarium and set off on the planets trail. The Sculptures are beautifully designed and set 1 million k per stride. The day was bright, the sky blue and the mountains fabulous. A memorable day.

Nice sculptures
Oct 2018 • Friends
We came across the planet walk sculptures completely by accident when we noticed them scattered around along part of our walking route. The sculptures are all within a few steps from the path. Every sculpture (planet) is well signposted and explained on plaques. There is an observatory as well, but we did not visit it.
The easiest way to access the planet walk is from the furnicular station. The route is not strenuous. Good shoes, walking shoes or trainers are essential though because the path is uneven.

Educating hike
Oct 2017
Really worth the hike. You can cover the distance you wish and turn back at any time discovering the solar system as you stroll along. A little funicular will rush you to the start of the tour. Do take the time if you are in St-Luc.

Excellent idea for an interesting walk
Sep 2017 • Family
We are a keen walking family, but despite that, this made our walk even better. It gives you an idea of the immense scale of the universe- it is mind-boggling really.
We did try to find Pluto and were disappointed not to, but we did walk a long way from the second last planet and saw Hayley's comet etc
As we were walking for a week from Saint Luc, we walked past this 3 times and it was always interesting and there was a new point for discussion.

Unique
Feb 2016 • Couples
Reached the Sentier des planètes with "funiculaire" from St Luc. The Sentier des planètes shows all the planets re-creating the real distance between each on a lower scale. Beautiful walk with breath taking sceneries. Very peaceful.

Visited the Observatory one evening and had a very interesting talk about the planets, stars and the moon, and saw the moon close up through a huge telescope

Wheelchair Accessible Mountain Walk with Stunning Views
Sep 2015 • Friends
Wheelchair accessible on the main path for first 30 minutes and return makes an enjoyable 1 hour stroll. Stunning views of the mountains. Display of the planets are not accessible however, being in the high mountains make up for it.

epic scenery, easy grade
Sep 2014 • Friends
We rode our bikes on this trail to Zinal Glacier wanderweg. Mostly an easy grade with some steeper pitches. Awesome views.

Exposed to weather so check forcast and dress appropriately.
