It is one of the most spectacular parks in Ontario, but the vast majority of interior canoe routes & campsites require (usually long & extensive) portaging. Since we much prefer to SIT in a canoe and paddle it ON the water instead of WALKING on...More

Outstanding view with both the small lakes and then the big lake. Cool white cliffs with some challenging climbing.

Beautiful hike. Some easy spots and some a bit more difficult but we are in our late fifties and survived. Great panoramic views at the top. Wish we had time to do one more hike before we went. Awesome

Heard much of this park, from students and family. Decided to visit it to see if the claims to fame were warranted. The answer is yes! In fact, the park has become my new top-three provincial park in Ontario (along with Sleeping Giant and Lake...More

You sound fit to be able to climb up the rock portion. Slow and careful foot placement is recommended. Enjoy the view! Spectacular.

During summer your chances are a lot slimmer than winter. No guarantee either way. There are apps you can download that will let you know when and where in the world you may be able to see them
