A Zoo so close to home with such amazing animals and great staff. One really sees that the staff love their animals, knows them a lot and they have fun on the job.

Visited the zoo last sunday. It wasn't overcrowed. All the animals were outside and we even got to see all the baby animals who were born this year. Tigers, chimps, meerkats, kea chicks etc. And there are a lot more species.

Visited this small zoo outside holiday season thus rather quiet. Some functions outside closed.
Tigers can be approached closely. Nice chimpanzees area, both outside and inside.
New Savanna house just opened a few weeks ago. Great building, warm inside, nice design.
