四万温泉の山口地区にある、小さな共同湯です。無料ですが、夕方の時間帯は観光客は使えません。
細いバス通り沿いで、駐車場もなく、また、四万温泉の旅館の多くはヴァラエティ豊かな湯を持つので、共同湯には足を向ける人も少ないのではないかと思いますが、湯の熱さにわずかな違いのある二つの湯船を持ち、全部で四人も入れば一杯になってしまうような小さな共同湯の風情も、せっかくなので楽しんでも良いかと思います。
湯は、塩の湯を引いている、と書かれていたと思います。サラリとしていて、後も引かないです。

近くに駐車場は、ありませんが、無料駐車場から10分程度で行けます。
無料の共同浴場です。とても綺麗に手入れがなされています。湯船は、2コあり、それぞれ、大人一人が、いっぱいな感じ。

四万温泉にある共同浴場の一つです。河原の湯はバス停にも近く混雑している事が多いですが、こちらはひっそり。小さな浴槽があるだけの素朴な造りですが、塩の湯源泉の湯がかけ流し。平日の午前中だった事もありゆっくりと温泉を楽しめました。

四万温泉にある比較的新しい建物の無料の温泉施設です。民家のような佇まいなので通り過ぎてしまいました。脇の入口から入ります。源泉かけ流しなので柔らかな四万温泉の湯をじっくり楽しめます。浴室はとても小さいです。

バス通り沿いにある無料の温泉施設です。設備は小さいものですが本格的な温泉です。四万温泉の湯量の豊富さが伺えます。

旧四万街道沿いにある共同湯です。中には内湯がひとつで、３～４人入ったら満員な大きさ。真ん中でふたつに区切られた浴槽はあつ湯とややあつ湯。お湯につかると熱さがビリビリっときますが、徐々に慣れていって気持ちが良いです。入浴料金は寸志ということでした。ここは近所の方々が順番で大切に管理されているそうです。観光客にも開放してくれることに感謝ですね。
