Went on 8th june. It was meant to be just a stopover along the way to tomamu. Turned out to be a pleasant place for us to explore. Purchase admission tix via vending machine just beside the main door. We got the tix which included buffet lunch. Senior citizen tix available too. The entire place was pretty quiet. Not a... More

I visited the place the day after the typhoon struck Hokkaido. A LOT of trees were damaged by the typhoon. I would advise to take the garden train to cover the whole garden. Is as place for ppl whom like trees and flowers. Do visit the farmers mart which is next to the garden. Plenty of local produced.

Yuni garden is the biggest tourist attraction in Yuni, as evidenced by the busloads of tourists that come daily from Sapporo and further afield to walk through its large, manicured grounds.
