立派な建物に驚きました。根室のバスセンタ－から出ている、観光バスのコ－スに入っていました。訪問者は、バスの乗客だけ。どれくらい活用されているのかと気にしながら館内を見学しました。

ロシアの文化を体験できるロシア文化ルームというものがありますが、自国の領土を奪った国の文化を学ぶとは言語道断だと個人的に思いました。悪い施設ではありませんよ。

根室市街地から数kmの、小高い丘の上にあります。北方領土について、一通り学べます。2F展望フロアからの、海の眺めが良いです。

日本のニ、北海道のホ、ロシアのロでニ・ホ・ロです（笑）
パンフレットとともに入館証明書がもらえます。何に役立つかは不明ですが（笑）和室やロシアの部屋、また昔の暮らしのフィルムとかあります。

北方領土問題に関する施設の中では、現在のロシア領の自然や現地の人との交流などをテーマにした展示内容がメインです。
「ニホロ」は日本・北海道・ロシアからつけたとか。
建物も新しくてきれいでした。

北方墓参団や自由訪問など各種交流事業にも活用されるいわゆる交流拠点。日本、北方領土、ロシアの架け橋という意味が込められている場所。展示施設もあり、ぜひ、立ち寄って。
