クジラで有名なので、クジラファンにとってはメッカである。
本島からも同じような船が出ているが
遭遇率がまるで違う。
座間味では、プロがクジラを探しているので
海がしけない限りはほとんど見える。
シーズンは冬ですよ。

例年１月～４月に見られるザトウクジラが見たくて、この時期に訪れました。
比較的遭遇率は高く、おおよその割合で見られると思います。私が行った時も見られたのですが、
直前まで雨が降っていたので、若干海が荒れていました。船酔いしやすい方は、必ず酔い止めを使用された方がいいと思います。

大変満足！！座間味島から村内航路で300円でいけます。
浜辺のサンゴは残念ながら枯れてしまっています。
（多分観光客が多くなって、みんなが踏んだりしてダメになっちゃったんだと思う）
ただ奥のほうに泳いでいくときれいなサンゴと多くの魚がいます。
ブイがはってあり、監視員のお兄さんが管理してくれているので、溺れる心配はないでしょう。
ブイで囲まれているところの左奥がおすすめポイントです。
