Lovely spot to view the unkai (sea of clouds) above Takachiho at certain times of the year at sunrise. A short drive out of town, that warrants a bit of care as it ascends through the cloud/mist layer. It can get crowded, so come early...More

Kunimigaoka is a very nice stop on the way to the Takachiho Gorge specially in the morning if it is not to cloudy so there is a very nice scenic view with some small clouds habging around the higher mountains.
