Enjoy the walk but not too much to see. Most shop were closed already before 5 and some of them was not even open. Can do if you have lots of time in Arita.

Old walls built to hide their secret ceramic processes. I believe the walk to the wall through old historic buildings is more interesting than the actual walls.

You can see these unique walls all over the back streets of Arita. Tombai-walls have been built from the remnants of old kilns, tools used in the porcelain making process, and fragments of old porcelain. The burned square bricks used to build the inner walls...More
