It's great size to see for sightseeing

It's kind of small for sightseeing area. But for girl with higher heels, it's good enough size to see it. I saw wild tiny crab and they are so pretty cute!

Went there twice, once during the ebb and once with the sea submerge the sand bar. Not a fan of the romantic lover attraction gewgaws, but a fan to the impeccable panorama of the Setouchi Inland Sea. Well done Shodoshima, well done Angel Road :)

This is a lovely stroll and very close to the Shodishima International hotel. I would recommend taking a walk over to capture the sensational views. It's hard to believe that it's high season as we barely saw anyone around! A great break for couples away from busy and crowded cities.

We managed to arrive at the lowest of low tide--which allowed a wonderful exploration of the sandbar--and an escape from the tour bus crowd. It's surprising how much wildlife, marine life, and interesting formations are behind the point where most tourists plant themselves. Great for kids--(keep an eye on the incoming tide)

We went in the morning, but then went back for the sunset, bought a bento dinner and sat chatting. Id also go for a day at the beach if you like snorkelling, banana riding etc.
