特産品売り場には、主に複数の品種のブドウが売られていました。
近隣の道の駅より大きく立派なブドウで価格もリーズナブルでした。

真夏ならブルーベリー

よく行く道の駅ですが、今のような真夏はブルーベリーが充実しています。
一般的なスーパーよりも値段が安いのは確かです。
味が甘いか否かは食べてみないと分かりません。
山に囲まれた標高の高い田舎にあり、トイレ、駐車場、物販が揃っていて便利な道の駅だと思います。

野菜がいろいろ買える。

地元で採れた野菜が売っていて、全体的に安い！
お土産のあるコンビニっぽいお店のパンがおいしいです。
でも、全体的にはちょっと規模が小さいかな？
ドッグランも気になって犬を連れていったんだけど、リードをつけたままでないとダメって書いてあったのがちょっと惜しい・・・
わざわざ行くまではないかなっていう気もしなくもないけど、近くに来たなら寄ると楽しいと思います。

そこそこの人出

近くの大和山の登山に際してスタート地点に選びました。
駐車場はそれほど広くないけど、農作物を中心とした物販、コンビニ、飲食のフードコート、広いトイレなど一通りの物が揃っていました。
最近は道の駅と言えば大型バイクが集まっているところが多いのですが、ここはそれほどでもありませんでした。

ほとんどの量が十分あり、鮮度もとてもよかった。種類も良く選ばれていました。
残念なのは数合わせに入っていた1点が量的に少なすぎ、料理にうまく使えませんでした。

拡大した道の駅

　最近は道の駅なのか農産品の直売施設なのか判別がつかないものが増えたが、ここは道の駅の施設がしっかりとあった。道の駅のマークが正面に飾ってあるのは久しぶりに見たような気がするほどだ。その道の駅をベースにコンビニ、パン店、ラーメン店、直売施設などバラエティーに富んだ施設をそろえている。高原地帯の直売施設らしく根菜が充実しているほか、イノシシ肉など「らしい」商品もそろっている。食事はフードコートのようなシステムだ。また、ここのコンビニは地元産品をそろえている珍しいタイプで、地元産のジャムや地酒などがかなり広いスペースで販売されていた。

wifiも飛んでてトイレ休憩に適

この近くを通って岡山に行くので、トイレ休憩にいつも使います。
wifi飛んでるのでついでにファイルのDLをする時もあります。奥まった所に特産品も売っているコンビニがあります。近くにお店は無いので何かと便利です。トイレとコンビニの間の座敷で弁当を食べることもできます。

一般的な道の駅でした。季節なのかメダカがたくさん売られていました。食事を頂きました。食事は普通ですが、地元野菜のサラダ食べ放題（4種類ほど）がありおいしかったです。

意外と良いかも

石でできた風車は珍しいと思います。
実際に風を受けて回っていました。
敷地内に小さな城があるのもおもしろいのですが、意外と良かったのは食堂です。
メニューは種類が豊富とは言えませんが、価格はお手頃でした。
４月上旬の感じでは混み合ってもいないし、静かで良かったと思います。

田んぼに囲まれた長閑な雰囲気ですが、農作物直売所、物産館、レストラン、フードコーナー、コンビニ（ローソン）と施設は充実しています。ブルーベリーの栽培が盛んな土地柄ということで、ブルーベリーを使用したジュースやジャムなどの加工品のほか、テイクアウトできるソフトクリームやたい焼きもありました。
