良い道の駅ですが、、

旅行中に寄りましたが、わざわざ高速を下りて行くほどでもない印象でした。
近くに蒜山高原SAがあるので、個人的にはお土産や食事ならそちらの方が良い気がしました。

地域に根差した道の駅

江府インター出口のすぐそばにある道の駅です。
地域イベントをよく開催しています。
私が訪問した日は、新そば祭りというイベントを実施していて
奥大山の新そばを提供していました。
奥大山のお土産も充実していて、週末は観光客で賑わっている感じです。
クレジットカードも利用可能でwi-fiサービスもあるので使い勝手が良いと思います。

大山開山1300年

国道181号沿いに在る、ライダーも多く賑わっている道の駅です。販売コーナーでは奥大山の特産や美味しそうなお弁当が売られていました。
お昼は併設の地産地消レストラン『なないろ樫』で、大山開山1300年を記念する"DAISEN1300御膳"をいただきました。メレンゲ目玉焼きが乗ったフワフワ蕎麦、大山おこわ、天ぷら等がセットされて1300円。お水は奥大山の天然水です。

道の駅　奥大山、つい通り過ぎましたが、戻って行って良かったです。

今年、7月下旬に大山に行き、地場の野菜や土産を買おうと「道の駅奥大山」に立ち寄りました。「道の駅奥大山」は、店舗自体は小さいですが、地場の旬の野菜などが並んでおり、そこしかない？などについて店の方に尋ねると気さくに答えてくれました。小さいながらも地元や周辺の情報誌やリーフレットも沢山揃えてあり、その後の旅行や観光地で非常に役立ちました。場所がいい感じの田舎道の県道沿いにあり、ついうっかりして通り過ぎてしまいましたが、戻って行って良かったです。

インターチェンジ近くの道の駅

米子道に入る前に立ち寄りました。IC近くでサービスエリア的な利用も出来そうでした。
内部に入ると地元物産の展示販売が行われており、道の駅そのものでした。広い駐車場があり駐車にも不自由しませんでした。

米子道〝ＳＡ〟

　もともと直売所「みちくさ」が存在していた場所に物産館とレストランとトイレを追加して「道の駅奥大山」にした。物産館は島根県東部や鳥取県中部の特産品のほか、地元の大山の水、イノシシ肉、ブルーベリーなどを扱う。直売所は午後だったので、ほとんど売り切れていた。高速バス停も兼ねている。ＥＴＣ２．０による一時退出対象の道の駅で、米子道の「ＳＡ」のような施設だ。

高い、大したことない、残念な道の駅。

10月末の週末に、大山の紅葉を見に行ったついでに寄りました。
ログハウス風の建物にわくわくしましたが、中に入ってガッカリ。キャベツが200円、大根も180円。かさが開いた松茸が12000円。
昨日行った地元の青果店の方がよっぽど質がよくて安かったなぁ～…
なんだか残念です。

岡山空港に車で行く途中で

岡山空港に車で行く途中で道沿いだったので深夜にトイレ休憩に初めて？寄ってみました。夜だから飲み物の自動車販売機しかダメでしたがフリー無線LANが使えて良かったです。
