大山に向かう途中で、友達が「あれ何？銅像？」と言うので見てみたら、大きなカラス天狗がど～ん！！なぜ、カラス天狗？と思いましたが、行ってみるときれいに整備された公園でした。お天気が良い日だったら家族連れで賑わうでしょうね。

安心した普通の公園

クルマで大山口駅から県道大山口大山線を走ると、左手に突如奇妙な銅像があります。
クルマで大山に登るときこの道は何度か利用し、数年前にその存在には気付いてましたが気味が悪いので無視してました。
また大山に行くので今回は気になってネットで調べたら、仁王公園のカラス天狗と判明。
寄って見ました想像と違い宗教も関係ない、普通の郊外型の公園でした、広場もあり運動も出来ます

カラス天狗

　国立公園・大山に自動車で行くにはいくつかの道がある。いわゆる大山道だ。そのうちの一つ、ＪＲ大山口駅からまっすぐ上る坊領道沿いにこの公園はある。周辺は地元民のための憩いの公園で、全長１１メートルほどのカラス天狗像だけが観光地と言えるだろう。大山に伝わるカラス天狗伝説をモチーフにした像で、大山など周辺の景色と組み合わせた写真をよく見かける。

大山の麓にある公園

大山を間近に見ながら、ゆっくりと過ごせる公園です。遊具もきれいで、小学生くらいまでなら楽しく遊べると思います。カラステングの大きな像が公園内にあります。滑り台の上には、お寺にあるような鐘のミニチュア版があり、鳴らすこともできます。東屋が多くあり、日陰で休むことも可能です。

大きな烏天狗が目印。

とても広くピクニック感覚でお弁当を持って行きました。
山と海のどちらも眺めの良い場所にある公園。烏天狗の像はとても大きくて
インパクトあります。

大山カラス天狗は一見の価値ありです！！中々の迫力ですよ！！

大山隠岐国立公園の大山に向かう途中にこちらの仁王堂公園に大山カラス天狗の像があると聞き立ち寄りました。
公園はとても広く、遊具やグラウンドゴルフなどがある芝生の公園です。駐車場も広いです。
その駐車場から少し階段を登った高い場所に巨大カラス天狗像がありました。

高さ8.88メートル、台座をいれれば10.9メートルもあり、中々の迫力です。この後に向かう大山の妖怪で、この辺りにはその大山カラス天狗の伝説が色々あるそうです。
妖怪といっても大山一円の守護神とも言われ、恐れられながらも親しまれる存在のようです。

景色がいい

天狗にびっくりしたけど、駐車場ある、のんびりできる公園。
なにより、大山を別の角度から堪能できる。
日影が少ないので、帽子必須。
レジャーシートもあるとよいかも。
遊具も多いので、子供は結構遊んでいます。

観光地ではないですが、地元の子供らの良い遊び場です。遅咲きの八重桜が咲いている時はお花見も出来て、お弁当を持ってでかけるのには良かったです。

目印は巨大カラス天狗

大山に上がる途中に仁王堂公園があります。とてもキレイに整備されていて公園の中に巨大カラス天狗像があります。遊具もあるので、天気の良い日は子連れで遊ぶのも十分楽しめます。

身長約９ｍの巨大カラス天狗像

身長8.88ｍの巨大カラス天狗の像が公園の真ん中に立つ、ちょっと変わった公園です。山陰道の大山ICから大山の方向に車で５分ほどの所にあります。
カラス天狗の像は、はっきり言って怖いです。鋭いくちばしに、大きな翼、そして何より約９ｍもの巨大なからだ･･･。山の守り神だそうですが、う～ん、どう見ても「悪」な感じ。
公園としては、木製の遊具や芝生の広場があり、小さな子供を連れて行っても楽しめそうです。（天狗像を見て泣いちゃう子もいるかも。）
大山の麓で解放感は抜群です。天気の良い日にお弁当を持って出掛けると良いと思います。
