This tiny little station is really close to the Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory, and you should visit it if you have time. Besides a big Conan statue in front of the station, the opening music of the Conan Anime is played whenever a train arrive. We had fun here!

If you like Conan, the cartoon character or Anime character, then please visit. For me, I know this character but not a superfan, but since i have the time, I found that walking around the city, and seeing a lot of Manga characters is quite interesting. And the city is very nice to walk and explore.

The whole city is named after Conan. Starting from this station, we can find many Conan-related objects (statues, milestone, direction to manga factory).

The actual name of Conan Station is Yura station. It is about an hour train ride from Tottori Station. There are about 5-6 trains for each direction daily so I would recommend at least half a day in this city. The station is full of Conan-themed decorations from the walls and ceilings of the ticket counter, stairs at the platform, lockers, and so on. There is a Tourist Information Centre that sells Conan postage stamp sheet and guidebook of Conan Town. These are not available in Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory and Conan Shopping Street. You can also do stamp rally with the Guidebook and if you can get at least 5, you can get a sticker from the same counter later on. The biggest attraction is the coloured Conan statue outside the station. Although it is not as big as I imagined, the statue alone is worth 5 star rating for Conan fans. Near the bicycle parking lot (turn left after exiting the station), there is a smaller bronze statue of Conan as well.

I always had been reading conan manga from young. As this was along the way to the sand dunes, we just must visit. Just drive to the conan station , the follow the route to conan bridge. There was a small shopping at the end of the bridge. Further down will be the manga factory
