連休でどこがご飯屋さんないかなと思い確認してぐれました。何軒か紹介頂きどこも美味しいお店でした。また困った時伺おうと思います。

鳥取県の南東にある智頭町は、町の家々に杉玉が飾ってあり、杉玉の町という感じで、江戸時代に、参勤交代で江戸へと向かう鳥取藩の最初の宿場町であり、歴史を感じる町でした。
国の重要文化財の「石谷家住宅」や、西河克己映画記念館・諏訪神社・諏訪酒造の酒蔵交流館「梶屋」には、漫画「夏子の酒」の作者である尾瀬あきら氏のイラストが飾られていて、いろんな酒が販売されており、その中でも、純米吟醸「満天星」生原酒は、美味しい酒でした。
車で行くと、鳥取からR53の智頭東交差点を、左に入った智頭小学校沿いに無料駐車場があります。
町の花「満天星」のどうだんまつりが、５月中旬からということで、是非また酒を買うのを楽しみに、行きたい町だと思いました。

智頭駅前にある観光案内所です。
中では智頭町の物産販売も兼ねており、木工製品等も展示販売されています。
又、高速バスの乗車券もここで購入できます。
案内所の前は広場になっており、イベント開催も可能でしょう。

智頭駅前の便利な場所にあります。建物内に入ると挨拶がありました。置いてる地図を選んで取ってからカウンターに行き１つ質問すると、男性の方が笑顔で分かりやすく答えてくれました。

智頭駅前にあり朝は9時には開いています。レンタサイクルあり、地元の杉を使った特産品、杉染めなどが買えますが、地酒は置いてないのが残念。

休日とお祭りが重なり食事処を探して入りました。
質問しるとお店まで電話をかけていただき確認していただきました。

宮本武蔵を見てから鳥取市に向かう途中です。いろいろなガイドブックで古い街並みを見ていたつもりですが、智頭にもたくさんの「昭和」以前の景色の名残がありました。このような風景をみていると、全国にもっともっと懐かしい大切な場所が残っているのだろうと想像することができました。智頭急行が有名だったので行ってみたところ、素晴らしい街並みに出会えて、ラッキーでした。

観光案内所ですがとてもレトロな建物で印象的です。観光するのにいろいろなコースで楽しめる案内をしてくれますし、パンフレットを入手して初めて来た際にも見どころの選定にも助かります。

智頭駅前にある観光案内所。智頭は宿場町として栄えた町で、智頭往来に石谷家などの古い邸宅や商家が残っています。こちらで智頭のマップやパンフレットを手に入れ、散策されることをおすすめします。智頭宿近くに駐車場があり、そちらにも智頭町観光協会の観光案内所があります。

智頭の駅前に建つけっこう大きな木造の建物。スタッフも何人かいて、市街の手作り地図とかも真心こめて作られたもののように感じました。西河克己監督のこととか質問すると丁寧に説明してくれました。なにかと頼りになる案内所だと思います。
