The Nanki/Kishu area is a beautiful area, not too widely toured by foreign visitors. With the itinerary and the scenic drive, it is a combination that is quite unforgettable. The itinerary can be adjusted as necessary and stops requested along the way. Please feel free to request any changes at any time.

This spot is next to the beach and relatively easy to find. It serves good seafood dons. So if you are around, it is a good lunch spot. Seafood was fresh and reasonable price.

It was terrible services and bad cuisine. I tried to have “ Tai Cha Zuke” But it was different from typical Japanese food, but they didn’t explain kindly and we really felt bad. The waitress’ manner was quite bad and rude for visitors. I’m sure I’ll never visit again.

As others have said there aren't to many restaurants in Shirahama, but this one was recommended in our travel book so we decided to check it out! We went for dinner and I had a gigantic sushi set, and my wife had a modest tempura set. Both were delicious, fresh, and reasonably price!

My french partner used to travel shirahama and one time he brought me there. Before going back to osaka we were craving for seafood dinner. Luckily, we saw Fisherman's Wharf and we are really in a hurry coz its rush time for the road going back osaka. We just waited for few mins and our fish was cut into pieces already and they took the bones out. We love the fish we ordered and it's fresh.

We arrived at our hotel in Shirahama before check in time and decided to find a place for lunch. There was a large sign for Fisherman's Wharf so we decided to explore. Only a couple of restaurants but to our surprise the Fresh Fish Market served food. Super fresh seafood. Now let me say at the outset, I don't eat seafood apart from some white fish that is not strong. My stomach usually turns as I go past fish stalls at home but here in Japan there is no smell of fish because it is absolutely fresh. My partner loves seafood so I decided to give it a go and chose a small mullet. It was BBQ'd on the spot and surprise, surprise I really enjoyed it. You can buy a bowl of rice and also miso for ¥150 each. The market also has live fish and lobsters to choose from but that was way out of my comfort zone. I can't recall the cost but is was certainly very reasonable.
