Very nice garden with a small bridge and a praying area. Went on a fall day and the leaves were beautiful

this bus stop locates at the front of middle gate (Chu mon) at Danjo Garan complex ,it's one of the highlight place to visit in Koya san area. there includes giant middle gate, Kondo(main Monastery), Kampon Daito(red white pagoda with Avalokiteshvara statues or Kannons. there is also old beautiful temples around . it's also peaceful garden and pond in the complex.

Pacified by Kukai, but she is still receiving offerings, adjacent to the Dai Garan gate, very attractive reflections in the water.

A nest of temples. Overrated as too many are currently being revamped and refurbished.
The bridge photography is misleading. The museum opposite of the road has some interesting collection and is worth visiting.

We took a look around this complex of temples, which had varying architectural styles. Not being a festival day, it was very quiet, with very few people around.
Peaceful location, with some interesting religious artifacts, such as the tree from which a disciple followed his master in ascending to heaven.
