龍蓋寺境内とは地続きの神社です

今回も又、「ついで参り」で失礼だったが、龍蓋寺への帰路に立ち寄り・参詣しました。ここだけにわざわざ来ることは京都住まいの私にはあり得ないことなので、失礼はご容赦頂きたく。創建１２００年の古社らしいが詳細は不詳。いつもの通り、静寂と木漏れ陽にいだかれた静かな神社でした。掃除がしてあると云うことは定期的に管理のために来られている人がおられるのでしょうね。

岡寺の側の古い神社

岡寺の側にある小さな神社だが、説明板によると延喜式にも記載があるそうなので、とにかく非常に古い神社であることは間違いがない。かつては、岡寺の境内であった可能性があるという。

いつも龍蓋寺(岡寺)の参拝時に参詣する神社です

駐車場から龍蓋寺への急坂の参道を登ると右手に見える神社です。縁起等は定かではないらしいが、１０００年の歴史を有しているとのことが説明石板に記されている。岡寺とは浅からず関係がある神社で多分、龍蓋寺の鎮守社でもあったと考えられる。実際に「治田氏」と云う人の祖先が奉られていたらしい。簡素な神社です。

岡寺とは深い関係の神社

創建年代は不詳であるものの、10世紀に成立の延喜式にすでにその名が残る古い神社。現在の社地からは岡寺の創建伽藍と思われる礎石なども出土しているので、寺院と密接な関係があったことがうかがわれる。

岡寺に隣接している神社で、昔は岡寺の建物が建っていた場所です。境内では有りませんがそばの広場には岡寺跡説明書が有りました。小さな神社です。

明日香村岡に鎮座する神社。岡寺の手前にある創建不明の謎な神社

岡寺の訪問時にたまたま見かけた神社です。　ちょっと雰囲気が良さそうなんでふらっと立ち寄りました。
謎の神社です。『延喜式』神明帳に治田神社の記載があるから平安時代には社があったようです。境内からの出土品で
創建時の岡寺がここにもあったのではと推測され、そのことから岡寺の鎮守神としてこの治田神社があった可能性があるそうです。
祭神は、応神（品陀別）天皇、素盞嗚尊（スサノオノミコト）、大物主神。　　

狭い神社でしたが拝殿・本殿は小さいながらも素朴な感じで素敵でした。それほど時間が掛からないと思うので岡寺とセットで訪問しても良いかもです。
