A very nice place if you want to get out of #Osaka. Even on a sunday, when it is most visites, there's always a free spot on the beach. You van rent parasols and sea stuff, andere of course eat and drink as much as you can

This is fantastic little beach that's a bit out of the way (which is a good thing) yet still quite accessible by public transit. The water was a great temperature and the beach itself was very clean and had a great, friendly vibe going for it. Although it was no issue for my partner, myself, or the multitudes of children and adults playing in the water, this beach does have a lot of free floating seaweed/kelp. I know some people find it gross and alarming to swim in or touch but I swear the type that is in this area was actually very inoffensive. It was just slightly slimy, smooth, lettuce sized matter floating around. The majority of people were playing with it by throwing it around or making piles of it. A lot of people bring pretty serious set ups with barbecues, tents, and several coolers but they seem to remain along the back edge of the beach and in the few little pockets around so there is always some available real estate a bit closer to the water. On that note, bring lots of snacks and water. You can buy some stuff but it's limited and a bit pricy so stock up before heading down. On a side note, I think this is a wonderful little area. My partner and I chose it for our first night in Japan since it was the same distance to head over here from Kansai airport as it would have been to head into downtown and we really wanted to set a nice mood and pace for our trip since Japan keeps most travellers busy and moving around a lot trying to take in the sites, food, and culture. We stayed at a lovely ladie's Airbnb right on the water and it was perfect!

Great place for a BBQ, swimming and enjoying the sun.

Bring your BBQ, get there early in the day for you to secure one of their coveted covered picnic areas. Most bring tents and brollies to protect yourself from the sun. There is running water, places to get rid of your hot ash, decent enough washrooms nearby.

For those who don't want to bring anything, there is a beach side restaurant where you can BBQ as well. (This is expensive)

Lifeguards are on the watch.

The park however closes at 4 PM.

Parking is right beside but it can be pricy.
