If you are on the way to the Kawazu Nanadaru Waterfalls, you will drive past this bridge for sure. It's certainly weird in a way but pretty impressive at the same time. I had no idea that this was a tourist attraction until the bridge...More

Engineering at its best . Tad scary as don't like heights but fantastic to use . Wide enough not to feel close to on coming traffic. Reduce speed and absorb the shire highly of this amazing structure.

So I'm into transportation but this is a pretty neat section of roadway. Having typed that, I wouldn't call it a sight seeing destination.

If you go to the Nanadaru waterfall hike the bus will go pass this bridge, and you'll experience it first hand,

If you might engineering you will find this bridge interesting. To get a road down a steep cliff this bridge was built. Its in stark contrast to the rest of the area which is all forests waterfalls and mountains.

Truly a unique construction. Funny when unexpected but don't visit it on purpose unless bridge architecture is your passion!

I agree dont go out of your way BUT this structure is an absolute gem. Glad I wasn't driving !! The engineers who built this must have been highly skilled.

Nice but don't go out of your way. If your route happens to take you this way then great. But hardly worth a de-tour for in our family's opinion.
