Most of mountain huts are closed in winter, but you can stay there. Actually, through the year, Keishin-in (Buddhist monastry) is always OPEN. The fee is 5,200yen (2016) with two meals and Famous ROLL FUTON which allow you sleep with couple of people.

My favorite place and time is morning. when the sun rises, you may watch spectaculer view. Mt. Fuji is in your grasp!

The way to the peak is like intermediate level. I recommend to equip more than hiking. water, snack, warm wear and solid shoes are really helpful.

for more info, I may add up somedays later.
