We went there with a local guide. It was an interesting cultural experience. As with all traditional bath houses, bathing takes place completely naked, so leave your pudor at the door. Learn also in advance about the etiquette and steps to be followed before and during the bath.
Facilities are excellent, all what you need is provided.
It has an indoor pool to get used to the hot water and after a while you can proceed to the external pool. The waters are rich in iron, so they have a brownish colour. There are two outdoor pools, one at 40C and another at 42C. I was only able to withstand the heat at 40C.
After the pool, try the sauna, massage and even lunch there before returning to Tokyo.

従業員の態度が最悪。
タトゥーを見つけると、犯罪者扱いして、人前でさらし者にし、楽しんでいるとしか思えない。年配の掃除する従業員に気をつけて！テープ張っているのも言いがかりつけてくるよ！
ほかの人のレビューにもあるけど、同じ従業員がタトゥー探しして、見つけると言いがかりつけてくるよ！
人として絶対に相手にしちゃダメなタイプ。人前に出ない仕事させたら？
こんなマナーの悪い従業員がいる施設にワザワザお金払ってまで行く意味無い。もっと感じ良くて湯質も良くてリーズナブルな温泉近くにあるよ！
湯楽の里、高い、湯質悪い、従業員感じ悪い、二度と行かない。ほかの湯楽の里の系列店も絶対にいかない。友達にも薦めない。
だいたい、今どきタトゥー禁止ってナニ？
私の友達はデザインタトゥー入れてるこたくさんいるけど、プールや海でこんなふうに侮辱受けた事ないね。

I have a small tattoo. It is not an offensive picture, but a very generic symbol.
I will never ever use Yurakumosato anymore, Here even with a micro-sized tattoo, if an employee finds it, you are treated like a criminal and kicked out!!!!
It is very offensive. The attitude of the employees is awful, very bad.
One elderly female employee acted as if she had a criminal on her hands, acting pompous and enjoying insulting me in front of other customers.
I have never been treated in such an insulting manner. I have never had a bad experience in any other Japanese public baths, they are much nicer. Tattoos with small, harmless designs and marks are allowed.
The attitude of the employees here Yurakunosato is awful the worst.
There are many more pleasant bathing facilitie where the employees are polite and helpful.
Never ever use this facility!!!
