One wouldn't figure making paper would be so fulfilling, I had a ball and the satisfaction to say I made paper. The folks here were so gracious and made me feel at home. I will stop back when in the area.

It's 10 mins drive from Ainokura Village (towards the east of the village). It's easy to find as we drove (not familiar with taking bus). There are a few handmade craft activities to choose from: Fan Making, Washi paper making, Making of postcards etc.. prices...More

You could try make paper and decorate with flowers pluck around vicinity. Lucky for us, there is another visitor able to speak some English. Allow a few days in Japan if you want to try the paper making, since they only do local delivery. We...More
