This is one of the 3 icicle sites in the Chichibu area, and one of 2 man-made icicles. Even if it was made for "touristy" purposes, it is still worth the visit. Same with the Misotsuchi no Tsurara, it also has it's own light up event. There is a hanging bridge (don't worry, it's very stable!) where you can take pictures with the ice on the background. Aside from the bridge, you can go way down to the sort of valley below and see the icicles from below.There is a small restaurant and kiosk selling hot food. I am not sure of the public transportation but there is a big parking lot near the icicle. There is a 200 yen entrance fee.
