About
Please buy a one-day ticket for adults 4000 yen at Tanigawadake Ropeway Base Plaza. Take the ropeway which is about 2400 meters in length from Doai-guchi station for about 15 minutes and get off at Tenjin-daira Station and you will arrive at the ski resort. There are 3 lifts. When the weather condition is set and the Tajirizawa course under the ropeway is opened, you can enjoy a long course of about 3 kilometers from Tenjin-touge. From the beginning of December to May in the season. In the high season it is a leading snowfall area in Japan where snow falls to 5 meters, snowy good powder snow derived from high altitude is a selling point. Because there is a multistory parking lot accommodating 700 cars, it is safe even in heavy snow. Besides skiing guests, you can touch natural snow from the earliest November to the latest June in the Kanto area of japan. For details on the backcountry-ski area etc., please see the official website. and convert it to the language you use.

Ski resort at the top of the Tanigawadake Ropeway
Feb 2015 • Friends
Tiny resort at the top of the Tanigawadake Ropeway. 3 lifts at the top with a rental department and a restaurant. Good views from the restaurant if the weather is clear. A long run all the way back down to the bottom of the ropeway.

Tenjin Powder Heaven
Dec 2012
Tenjin is a biig mountain and receives some of the highest snowfalls in Japan with a correspondingly long season from November through May. The piste is somewhat limited and probably worth a couple of days but the backcountry is endless, easily accessible and steep enough to handle the deep powder.
