If you like the modern architecture and Mr. Kengo Kuma, this museum is highly recommended to visit. Light, darkness and reflection are stunning and Mr. Kengo Kuma ‘s idea and craftsmanship are breathtaking. Saw Japans first time “Japanese tea ceremony room made from stones”. Red colors stone pillars are baked Ashino stones. Originally Ashino stone color is grey, however, when it’s baked, color is changed and it looks like a pottery.
Also, stone shaving technique is indescribably amazing to shave till 6mm so that the sun lights can be seen through outside. This museum was impressive.
