You can get on a local bus bound for Nasu Yumoto Onsen from JR Kuroiso Station, get off at the "Nasu Safari Park" stop, and walk for 7-8 minutes to the entrance of the Safari Park. Alternatively, you can take the Nasu Kogen Tourist Bus, which has a bus stop right in front of the entrance.
In addition to regular business hours (until 5pm), the "Night Safari" is held on weekends from 6:30pm, and this time I participated in the Night Safari as part of an optional tour organized by a nearby hotel.
After 8pm, we changed from the hotel's tour bus to a night safari bus and entered the premises through a special entrance, where we could see lions, giraffes, tigers, elephants, and other animals at close range. We could also feed some of the animals through the wire mesh (1,000 yen per bag).
The bus stops at spots where animals are present, and the staff shines lights on the animals so as not to disturb them, so it was nice to be able to observe the animals at our leisure even though it was dark.

Fun place. Have gone a few times now with young children, young adults and older adults. Each time has been a fun experience. I recommend renting one of the park’s cars to avoid damage to your own car.

Small. Dirty. If the San Diego zoo is rated a 10 on a scale of 1-10, this place would be a 2. Don't bother.

I went to the Night Safari with my daughter, and my wish came true. I thought that if I bought a ticket in advance on my smartphone, the entrance would be smoother. The line didn't move at all even though the entrance started at 18:30. It seems that the same line is used for same-day tickets and advance tickets. It took almost 30 minutes to check in, but we were given a paper regular admission ticket, a pamphlet for the park, and a lion bus ticket. Do we need a physical admission ticket if we bought it online? I think it would be good if people who want the pamphlet to be left at the entrance could take it. We threw away everything except the bus ticket without looking at it. It was printed in color on high-quality paper. I don't think other parks issue tickets for online admission these days. I think the printing costs can cover the cost of animal food at least a little, and I thought it was a waste when I thought about the SDGs. Also, the bus goes clockwise, and the animals are all near the center of the park on the right side, so if you sit on the left, you can't see the animals that are lower than the window. I was very disappointed after paying 5,000 yen per person for admission, including 1,000 yen for food. I would like them to think about entertainment, such as arranging the places where animals gather on the left and right, or devising bus routes. It is a business that exists only because of the customers. (The attitude of the staff was also disappointing.)

First thing, absolute rip off.
What I did; Journey there, Paid a f*** load, parked, got given a small amount of food, got in the bus, departed, saw lifeless predators, saw bored herds of animals, got back to the beginning, got a picture taken, charged us for the photo, was free to go home.
I has happy to see that they had a fair variety of animals and that we could feed them, but the lions, which I wanted to see, active, were sleepy and lifeless. I also wanted to see bisons, which I did, but none of them had any intentions of coming towards us for food. It was cute, however, to see the mammals scurry to you for food.
After your Safari bus tour, you're free to go. There was a small area with goats, tortoises, rabbits and a capybara where you can pet them.
Overall, totally not worth the price.
