Skied for the first time in Japan at Gran Deco. The hotel is very well organized, and staff work together to accommodate guests, especially when English translation is necessary. We particularly enjoyed the incredible views of the Bandai area mountains surrounding the resort from our rooms, which were clean and spacious. The hotel restaurant serves a good selection of delicious European and Japanese food. Hotel staff at Gran Deco were friendly, welcoming, and several speak good English. Best skiing we've had overseas! The snow was perfect and again, the service was wonderful. The food wasn't my favorite, but that was as important as the skiing.

All ski lifts are fully covered by hoods. So we can avoid very cold winds and snows. It is quite important especially for small kids, to keep warm them during getting on lifts. They have very flat and wide courses. As for lunch, I recommend to go to hotel Gran Deco. You can take off your ski boots and ware... More
