一番大きなパワードリーム号に乗船。
浅い尾岱沼の海に切られた水路を野付半島に向かって
水しぶきを上げながら走ります。
アザラシがいるとグッとスピードダウンしてゆっくり見させてくれます。
私たちは先に野付のネイチャーセンターに自転車を置きに行き
尾岱沼から船の片道利用で、帰りはサイクリングして帰ってきました。

北方領土の国後島を直ぐ近くに見る野付半島は、根室海峡の波と風が砂を運んできて出来た長さ20数kmにも及ぶ長い砂嘴です。以前はトドマツ・ミズナラなどの原生林でしたが、地盤沈下によって野付湾となり其処にあった原生林は海水の浸食により立ち枯れ、荒涼たる自然の造った景観となっていますが、近年立ち枯れた林がしだいに姿を消しつつあるということで、30年ほど前に観た状態とどのように変化があったのかを知ろうと思い再度行ってみました。なるほど流石に海水と風によって立ち枯れの木は、見る影もないほど少なくなっていました。時期的には6~7月頃ならば、此の半島は原生花園として多くの花が咲き乱れて、野付湾では打た瀬船で北海シマエビの漁を見られたのですが、都合がつかず８月になって行きましたので、花の群落もシマエビの漁も見られず残念でした。皆さんも行かれるならば、来年でも是非どうぞ...

野付からトドワラまで往復する別海町営の観光船です。朝一番の便に乗ったら２組しかおらず何とかしきり気分でした。途中名物”うたせ船”が出ていてその写真を撮りながらトドワラに着き、帰りは野生のアザラシをみて帰りました。因みに次の便は断代客でいっぱいでした。ぜひ一番船に乗ることをお勧めします。

尾岱沼より野付半島やトドワラをめぐる遊覧船。トドワラでは上陸し、見学時間が取られます。海面に顔を出すアザラシが見られました。

野付半島のトドワラを見るために利用しました。観光船は不定期にでるようです。私が行ったときは他に４名の方の予約があり、PMの運行がありました。
出航後、船長さんがアザラシを探し、近くまで船を近づけてくれます。
半島でも１H程観光でき、港まで戻ります。

尾岱沼の港と野付半島トドワラの往復クルーズに乗りました。水面まで茂った海藻の森の中でくつろぐゴマフアザラシの、かなり近くまで船を寄せてくれ、とても楽しめました。トドワラではオジロワシも見ることができ、ワイルドライフ好きにはお得です。

クルーズには幾つかのコースがありますが、野付半島湾内の「トドワラコース」が一番手頃かと思います。時間は1時間半ほど、往復の金額が2480円です。自然のゴマフアザラシが見られたり、今時期だと北海シマエビ漁の打瀬船が見られます。船の添乗員さん・船長さん共に親切です。アザラシの群れに近づくと停船してくれました。野付半島に到着し自由に50分くらい散策できるのですが、かなり歩くので覚悟が必要。野付半島散策をメインにするなら車で行った方がいいかも。私たちは船に乗りたくての観光でした。デッキに出ると塩まみれになりますが、風が気持ちよく楽しかったです。

天気も良く約２０頭のアザラシを見れました。でも風が強かったからか船が近づくと波で泳いでいるだけで、アマモの上で休んでいるのはいませんでした。
全身を見たかったけど、頭だけ出してこちらの船の方を見てる姿も可愛かったです。

トドワラから尾岱沼の片道に乗船。トドワラの乗り場はネイチャーセンターから30分程度原生花園を歩く必要がある。野生のゴマアザラシが生息しており、アザラシの近くではスピードを落としてアザラシウォッチングの時間となった。

野付からトドワラまで航行している観光船です。
ツアー参加なので良くわかりませんが、不定期航行のようです。
運が良いとアザラシが見えるようですが、頭位しかみることが出来ませんでした。
いずれにせよ屋外でシャッターチャンスを狙うのがお勧めです。
