オホーツク海へ突き出した岬

オホーツク海に突き出した岬で、宗谷国道238号線から少し北東に入ったところにあります。オホーツク海から上る朝日を見るには絶好の場所のようで、広いキャンプ場があり、夏には大勢のキャンプ客で賑わうそうですが、北西の季節風が吹き付ける時期に全く人がいませんでした。ガラス張りに展望台では風を気にせずに景色を楽しめましたが、ガラスが潮風の飛沫で汚れていましたので、寒風に震えながら外で写真を撮りました。

評価は天気と時間によって変わると思います。

紋別から稚内へ向かう途中に立ち寄りました。駐車場から少し丘を登ると全面ガラス張りの建物があります。日の出を待つときや天候が悪かったりした場合は助かる施設だと思います。昼過ぎに行きましたが、あいにくの小雨模様だったのでぼんやりしたオホーツク海を眺めただけに終わりました。これが青天だったら評価は違うと思います。トイレも完備されていますが、男性用は用を足しているとガラス張りなので表を歩く人と目が合ってしまいます。

名前の通り日の出も綺麗に見える場所でしょう！

国道２３８号線を稚内に向かって走っている時に、看板を見つけましたので寄ってみました。
　キャンプ場もあり、又目の前にオホーツク海が面し気持ちの良い場所でした。
冬場はきっと雪も多く厳しい場所だろうと想像します。

ここからオホーツク海を見たら、湾どになっている地形がよくわかります。シーズンには、流氷が押し寄せ、迫力ある様を見ることが出来ます。

近くの温泉ホテルは、21時頃まで日帰り入浴が可能でドライブの疲れを癒すなど出来ます

オホーツク海沿いに位置する雄武町の岬です。オホーツク海を一望することができます朝日を楽しめる場所です。冬には流氷も押し寄せる場所で網走や紋別と比較して穴場的スポットです。

裏手には変わった岩場が広がり海辺まで続いています。
名前の通り、晴れた日には見事な日の出が望めます。

目の前のオホーツク海

稚内から網走に向けてオホーツク海沿岸を走る国道２３８号線を走っていました。この道路はアップダウンもカーブ少なく、走りやすいけど変化に乏しい道でした。その中にあって日の出岬は、そこだけオホーツク海に突き出ている岬です。
岬からどこまでも広がるオホーツク海を見渡すと、突き出ている分、２００°くらいが海なんです。岬の付け根部分には温泉もあり、さらにキャンプ場、そして岬の先端近くには「ラ・ルーナ」と名付けられた総ガラス張りのユニークな形をした展望室もありました。

10月は風が冷たくて大変でした

オホーツク海に突き出すように立地している岬で、近くにキャンプ場もありますので、夏のお天気が良い日などは快適に過ごせるところだと思います。ただ、私は10月の訪問で、お天気はそれなりに良かったのですが、風が冷たく、しかも強かったので、あまり長居することは出来ませんでした。やはり夏の訪問がおススメのスポットだと思います。
