Simply Romantic
May 2019
You may visit this park from early May to June. Just take your sweet time to climb up the slopes or sit under the shed to enjoy the spring atmosphere with a cup of coffee or ice cream in hand.

Getting there more complicated than other pink flower parks
May 2019 • Couples
I think this place is complicated- so many different parking zones and approaches.
When i visited just two days ago, it’s not as well populated in the hills, it was quite patchy.
The Higashishizakura place is better, IMO.

Amazing landscape
Jun 2018 • Family
Big "WOW" when I visited this park, and full of happiness filled in my heart. Such an amazing landscape! Love this Shibazakura hill so much! Great place for photography. Worth to visit if you lucky to see full of Shibazakura bloom.

spring time
May 2018 • Friends
this is the place you must visit during spring times. Shibazakura Takinoue Park is located in Takinoue town which is about two hours north of Asahikawa which is consider nearer for us who travel from Sapporo. we joined a day tours on 23.05.2018 to visit this park. after this park you can visit Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park before back to Sapporo.

unforgetable memories for us to see pink carpets on the hillside at about 200 m above sea level .

Wow
Jun 2018
Although I have seen posters of this place before, but the moment I drove up to the car park entrance, the view still wowed me like I am seeing it for the first time. We enjoyed the stroll in this hilly park and taking lots of photos. Despite the crowd, the place is still big enough for that selfie without the photo bombers in the frame. Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed the view there. Must visit!

Impressive pink!
May 2018 • Family
The first response upon arriving the park was a big “Wow”!

The hills were filled with pink moss that is very impressive. A fairy tale like garden that any photo snap is beautiful.

A must go place if you are in Hokkaido in may.

Lovely
May 2018
This place is definitely one for the shibazakura season. It is beautiful and the landscape is good. However, we went to higashimokoto park after this and felt that it was much better. If you have to, visit this park first followed by higashimokoto. That way, you won’t leave disappointed. If you do not have the time though, please don’t give this place a miss. It is amazing nonetheless and is a feast for the naked eyes.

Good, but not worth the amount
May 2017 • Friends
We went to this place on 7th May( Golden Week )-
Good things - Place looks amazingly pretty and lot of good pictures can be expected .
- Different varieties of flowers with different colors
- Can get done quickly like at the max 3 hrs

Bad - You pay 2000 as the entrance fee , which includes round trip from kawaguchiko.
-You cannot spend an entire day in this place, as there is nothing much to do besides checking out various flowers and taking pictures. How much can you admire flowers.?
- To go to this place, you need to take highway bus till Kawaguchiko and then Shibazakura Liner till this place which costs - 3500( Shinjuku- Kawaguchiko- Shinjuku) + 2000 = 5500 ( not worth)

My advice - You might as well spend an entire day at Kawaguchiko and have fun

Rating- Average and not worth the price.

Only go during the pink moss time
Jul 2016 • Family
We went there in the summer and saw nothing. Only go there during the pink moss time, there's no other attraction in other season.
