This is a fairly big sized information centre cum souvenir shop with good toilet facilities and car park at the front. The staff at the centre can speak English. You can get brochures and ice cream here. There are benches for you to sit relax and eat your ice cream. The souvenirs are local Shiretoko stuff.

This is a very necessary spot to stop to get the most our of your Shiretoko Peninsula visit. The staff speak excellent English and can help book boat tours and other forms of sightseeing. They are very friendly and happy to help.
