This island is a short 15min boat ride from Toguchi port. The port itself is a good 2Hr drive from Naha. Recommend going early if you want to avoid the crowd during high season. We took the 8AM ferry and were among the first to setup tent on the beach. By noon the beach was super crowded with tents on... More

if you don't have time and want to go to an outer island of Okinawa, this is the solution. Minna Island is only 15 minutes by boat and it's a pretty island! You can swim, snorkel, do water sports or just sunbathe. I enjoyed so much my time in Minna Island! :)

We got the 1.30pm ferry from Toguchi port (easy to find using google maps) and got the last ferry back (4pm). Depending on the time of year , there are between 2 and 8 ferries a day. The main swimming area was relatively busy (around 50 or so people). Parasols, chairs and other beach stuff is available to hire. We... More

Only 15 mins from main island by ferry, this very sunny spot has amazing snorkeling and shelling. There is no shade, you either rent an umbrella and stick with the main crowd or bring your own and go left as you get off the ferry. The beach is pristine, clean and the water is crystal clear which makes for superlative... More

I came here to go diving, not with the big ferry but with a charter boat, first time I brought divers here and everyone loved it, awesome visibility and a huge amount of healthy, colorful hard corals and plenty of fish, we had a surface interval on Island and since it is march it look pretty deserted, which I liked... Went this beach in May. Took a ship for 30mins. It's ideal time to for boarding with kids since they cannot stay too long in a ship or stay still. anyway had fun in a ship and got out of ship, the beach was exactly what i wanted and imagine. so nice. Small but beautiful. not much ppl around, nice... More

Visited Minna island after a snorkeling trip with the Ocean Island Crew. The island is small with a nice white sand beach. The population of the island is a whopping 30 people and services are limited. There is a ferry dock, with a sheltered waiting area if the weather turns ugly.

It was breathtaking. i highly recommend snorkeling, i cannot describe in words how beautiful and pristine the water was, and it's like a dream on earth. The fish are absolutely beautiful, so many different colours, a true definition of earthly beauty was on this island.

What a place. We went as part of an ITT tour from Kadena AB but it doesn't seem like it would be hard to figure out on your own. The island has crystal clear water and really nice sand. There are plenty of open areas to out your things while you enjoy the water. There are also some food places... More

It's a 15 mins ferry ride from Toguchi port. I can't find the Map code of the port, so I use Google map (pls do not use the-other-map). There are a few timing departing from/to the port/island (depends on which month). Unfortunately, it was drizzling when we reached there. Remember to bring some drinks/snacks to the island. There's only 1... More
