The place is great - huge area of land - great views, but not as many fish, as I was expecting from this place.

We got the bus schedule at Naha Bus Terminal / Tourist information. It's better to plan ahead otherwise will waste the time at the bus stop!! The Aquarium is a MUST to visit at Okinawa. Don't forget to check at the specimens!!

This place was amazing. Definitely the best aquarium I have ever been to. The only issue I had with it is that the manatees seem to be kept in tiny, dirty pools. As a manatee lover, this broke my heart.

The aquarium itself is amazing! It's a world-class aquarium in a modern amazing facility with spectacular views. Unfortunately, they still offer dolphin shows and for this reason alone, I can't support this place. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star rating.

This aquarium is the most beautiful, mysterious place that I have never seen. It contains various of sea animals from fresh water to deep sea. When you first step into the aquarium, you will feel like you are diving under the sea. There are many big water channel which you can walk through to another place surrounding by the fishes.... We visited as a family and everybody liked this aquarium a lot. They have huge tanks of fish, each showing animals from different areas in the sea. It is fun just to stand or sit there and look at them swim around. This is a must-see attraction in Okinawa. The only thing they could improve is the fact that there... More

Love the big aquarium theatre, with the three giant whale sharks. Looking at them swimming in the giant tank is just so enjoyable. The whale sharks make great selfie background too.

Worth a visit. We liked the kuroshio sea area with the big glass panels. If you go after 4pm, there's a discounted rate. At specific timings, the observation deck opens up & a short free guided tour will be provided by the staff in Japanese. Good to see behind the scenes.

Although a bit far from where most other attractions are, it is worth driving there to visit this aquarium, particularly if you want to see the big whale shark in action. There is a huge tank and we can enjoy admiring how the behemoth swim and eat. Apart from the whale shark there are other interesting sea-creatures and fish you... More
