Great intermediate and advanced slopes

A bit quieter than Happo One plus some great runs with good powder when we were there. Easy access to Goryu which broadens your choices. Great lunch choices which good portions.

Wanting to try a different ski resort, we skied at Goryu and Hakuba 47 one day. The two resorts are linked and offer long runs of over 6 km. 47 is a very pretty area offering great views and ski runs through trees and a good mix of beginner to advanced. There is also a good range of eateries. We... More

We were there is January this year and there wasn't sufficient snow. Many parts of the mountain have signs showing insufficient snow, otherwise I think Hakuba 47/Goryu is a good choice!

I've spent my whole life skiing and boarding in Australia so coming here was an absolute breath of fresh air. Awesome runs for all skill levels and very few people. The locals are friendly and getting around speaking only English isn't a problem

With no snow on the lower reaches the skiing opportunity was not what it could have been. Even still the runs up top were good for my first time kids as well as myself who has skied 40+ times. Want to come back when we can ski top to bottom but might.wait til Jan next time.

I'm a beginner to snowboarding but I had a good time at Hakuba 47. The pass gives you access to both 47 and the other mountain Goryu. Not too crowded.

Had a fantastic skiing day here today. Joins onto Goryu which is also a great resort. We loved how the resort was groomed so well and offers a variety of terrain for different levels of skiers.

We've just spent a week in the Hakuba valley and I would never have predicted we would spend more than half of it skiing and boarding at Hakuba 47. With the wind coming in from the North for much of the week not all the resorts were open but Hakuba 47 seemed to be main stay with its tree lined... More

Better suited for boarding I found. Enjoyed the longer runs and the fact you can pop over the top Goryu (Weather dependent.) Not as many cafes and that but there is a good choice and what a view they have. Park and runs were great for the amount of snow that was available.

We visited in January 2016. Snow was light throughout Hakuba but somehow Hakuba 47 had more natural snow than neighboring resorts. We skied at Happo for two days, then switched over to Hakuba 47. We immediately regretted not coming sooner. Everything at Hakuba 47 was better. The lifts were newer and had actual lap/safety bars. The trails were well marked,... More
