東北に住みながら、まだまだ知らない所や行ったことの無い場所が多くて日々テレビなどで取り上げられる観光名所と人気スポットが気になって1度は行ってみたいと思っていました。
今回2015年温泉一泊家族旅行へ行く道中で偶然目にしたので即味見してみました。
わざわざ食べに行くのにはちょっと大変だと思って叶わなかった塩ソフトクリームを堪能してきました。塩ソフトクリームとは言っても塩辛く無いほんのり塩味のある甘みで食べ続けていくと感じなくなりました。一つ200円でコーンの種類が3つある中から好きな物を選べます。
同じ所で普通のソフトクリームも販売していますが是非1度は話題になった塩ソフトクリームを御賞味して頂きたいです。

緑いっぱい美味しい空気の中に流れる時間✨公園では小さなお子様連れの親子✨孫の手を引くおじいちゃんとおばあちゃん✨そんな光景を健やかに眺められる場所かな♬

思惟大橋（しいのおおはし）の近くにある素朴で小さな道の駅です。食堂では合鴨ラーメンが人気のようでした。また、新鮮な地元産野菜やでんがく、串もちなど手作りの品々のほか、アイスクリームや飲むヨーグルトなども販売していました。また、すぐ脇に展望スペースがあり、高さ120ｍの思惟大橋の眺めは絶景です。なお、隣接するレストハウスは夏季の週末のみ営業するとのことです。

道の駅にしてはかなり質素ですが休憩に寄りたいスポットです。ここから海に出ると三陸鉄道島越駅があります。この地区は大きな被害を受けた場所ですが、駅で飲むサイダーは大変美味しいです。

季節柄、秋の松茸シーズンで大きな見たこともない、松茸を安くで買い、店内で、食べたたのはたアイス

国道４５号沿いにある道の駅です．公園の他お土産物屋や軽食屋もあります．南側には谷をまたぐ思惟大橋があります．

昆布は北海道しか採れないと思っていたが、綺麗な昆布が安く売られていた。知名度に負けているのだろう。ふのり（昔々浴衣の形を整える事に津蹴っていた記憶がある（薄黄色い物だった））が食品として置かれていた。コレステロールを下げるらしい。残念ながら過疎化の影響で街の中の食料品店では置いていない物まで入手可能。

思惟大橋のたもとにある道の駅。
施設自体はコンパクトですが、後ろに公園があり小さな子供連れでも楽しめそうです。
田野畑村の峠についての歴史が書かれていて、このあたりが辞職峠(はっきり覚えていませんが)と呼ばれていたそうです。
険しい谷が4つあり、ここに赴任した人はそれを見て仕事を辞めてしまうそうです。
今は橋ができて、【陸の孤島と呼ばれたのも今は昔】となったそうです。
ここでひじきを買いました。
旅から帰ってさっそくたきました。
こんなひじき食べたことありません！
肉厚で歯ごたえぷりっぷり。
立派なおかずになるひじき煮の完成です！
たっぷり入って300円。
時間を戻して、10袋くらい買いに行きたいくらいです。
人気なのか、最後の一袋でしたが。

田野畑村唯一のミニスーパー的な雑貨屋さんです。
津波被害から復旧した地元商店です。
コンビニ等何も無い田野畑村なので、宮古市や田老町まで、買い出しに行く手間を考えると助かります。
