美術館好きなグループやし、めったに来られへん利尻の美術館は行っとかなと立ち寄りました。コンクリート調の都会的な雰囲気の美術館には利尻島だけに生息してる動植物の紹介や絵などがありました。ちなみに正式名称は「カルチャーセンター＆りっぷ館」です。

鴛泊港の近く、利尻富士温泉に隣接した施設です。コンクリート打ちっぱなしの建物ですが、ややメンテナンスが行き届いておらず、年季を感じる外観でした。内部には絵画や写真の展示もあります。

10月の平日夕方に行ったら閉館していましたが、外観や庭を見るのもおもしろいですね。コンクリート打放し、1990年代に流行った建築の雰囲気が楽しめます。
