No flowers in mid-May, but there was lavender ice-cream though. If you need a break, this place offers just that.

Stopped off literally to just have a fang on the bikes and go. Well worth the 5 minute thrill and 500Y each. Not many other tourists so didn't feel crowded. Definitely an attraction for trend-setters.

You can enjoy the nature and colorful flowers. This place has ATV service for helping you to drive along the path and you can see overall of garden.

Visited biei on May 15. No flowers here have bloomed yet. Might want to make sure you're traveling here at the right season.

It will arrive in about 10 minutes ride in taxi from JR Biei Station. This park is the attractions of Biei summer. Have many flowers are planted, you can stroll slowly.

I did not visit this when I took public transport last summer. This summer, this is the first flower park when we drove from Asahikawa to Biei area. not huge but very nice. Hire a golf cart to have an overview first
