We booked our dogsledding activity with Moonlight Ladies thru a local travel agency and got instant confirmation. I was told we were lucky to be given a slot since time slots get filled out quickly. And wow, what an experience not to be missed. Hosts Dan and Kyoko are very passionate about their craft and their family of Alaskan huskies seemed happy and well cared for. Dogsledding with ML, truly highlight of our Hokkaido trip. Highly recommended!

Dan and Kyoto are so helpful and accommodating. The dogs are so friendly and shy. Kyoko was at the bus station picking us up and drop us back, in time to catch return bus. Dan checked the track just before we arrived so safety is their priority. The track runs across beautiful scenery and amazing view. Kyoko went extra mile to take great picture and video, and transfer to memory card for us to bring home. If there is only one thing to do in Hokkaido winter, this will be it. Great work to Dan and Kyoko. Had a wonderful time and beautiful memory that will last a very long time. A big thank you to Dan and Kyoko.

We are a family of four. It was such a privilege to have this experience with Dan and Kyoko. As the dogsledding spots are only twice a day, we managed to get a spot from a previous cancellation. Their website is well informed. The booking form worked well. Be patient and wait for an available time. If there is no email response, that means there’s no spot available. The dogs are Alaskan Huskies. They were easy to handle; they were well behaved. Listen to all the instructions carefully. They have an instructional video and Dan is very clear on what to do. Kyoko takes a video and photos of us. Good memories. Don’t worry the dogs will not pee on you while sledding. They have good manners. As others have mentioned, Dan and Kyoko are a nice couple; very open to share their life stories and experiences. Good people. A warm and friendly experience.

Had the same issue with the others with trying to get some sort of response from them in terms of schedule in advanced but to no avail. The place and dog (think around 28 of them huskies) are managed by Dan and Kyoko only so I guess they are a little short handed. Anyway we managed to get our slot 3-4 months in advanced (think they start responding in November) so be patience! We took the bus from Asahikawa station and it was really straightforward. Just need to follow the instructions from Kyoko or Dan. We were family of four (4 years old boy and a 18 month girl) and we absolutely love the whole experience (it was a clear and sunny day so the dogs were a bit slower than usual 😁). Dan and Kyoko are lovely person (very friendly and patience with our children) and couldn’t wait to return for another sledding experience with the huskies.
