札幌市内から夕張方面に向かう途中で看板を見つけ行ってみました。こちらに入って、九さんがローカル局で障がい者との情報交換の番組をされていたことを初めて知りました。永六輔さん、中村八大さん、坂本九（689の会）さんとの交流がしのばれる品もありました。

長沼温泉でジンギスカンを食べた後、宿泊地の旭岳温泉に向かう道中の観光地をと地図アプリで捜していた所、長沼温泉から車で20分程の距離に有るこちらの施設を見つけました。
12月21日からは、冬季閉鎖に入られるとか…
幸運にも、昨日ならば大雪で、道路が通行止に成っていたそうです。
入った正面には、坂本九さんの年表。
右手奥の建物には、実際に使われていた品々を展示。
左手奥には、此方で働く皆さんが手作りされた商品の販売スペースに♪
一つ300円の十二支の置物が可愛く、幾つか購入しました。
他の方のコメントに有ります様に、私も坂本九さんが、ボランティア活動をされていたとは知りませんでした。
こちらのスタッフさんが仰るに「歌手のイメージが無い。地元で放送されていた番組の司会者の姿が強く残っているから。」と…

事故の風化と共に、人足も遠退いていますが、出来ましたら皆様には、“ボランティア”という言葉が無かった時代に、率先して実行された時代の先達の足跡の一つを訪れて下さい。

「サンデー九」という番組を通じ､この栗山町の福祉障害者施設のロックバンドと生前に交流があったのを縁に999名の寄付金によって建設された､坂本九さん故人を偲ぶ記念館です｡運営は全てボランティアによってまかなわれている記念館で､坂本九さんが福祉活動に対して啓発し続けてきた彼の素晴らしい人間性を垣間見る事が出来ます｡昭和という時代を人間味溢れる姿で多くの人々から愛されて続けてきた坂本九という故人に改めて感銘を受ける事の出来る記念館です✨

なんでこんな所に坂本九の記念館があるんだろうと思い続けてはや20年近く。
とうとう訪問。
上を向いて歩こうとか、私も全然世代が違っているので
昔の人な感じだったが、資料館としては手間をかけて良くできていた。
この人の人柄を知ることができるだけでも行って良かった記念館だった。

栗山町の数少ない観光スポットです。
ボランティアによって運営されているようで、入場料の設定はありませんが、代わりに入場時に募金をするシステムになっています。
アラサーの大人2人で訪れて、正直なところ2人とも坂本九さんについては代表曲をいくつか知っている程度で、どのような活躍をしていたのかほとんど知りませんでした。

夕張へ向かう際、坂本九記念館？懐かしく思い立ち寄りました。
ボランティアによって運営されているようで、入場は無料ですがよろしかったら募金をお願いしますと。。。。
