こちらは、泊村にあります原子力発電所をPRする施設で無料で見学できます。
火曜日の午前中行きましたガラガラでした。
入るとすぐに、福島の発電所で起こった事故に対して、この発電所の対策などがわかりやすく説明されていました。
その奥は原子力発電所の仕組みなどか展示されており理解が深まりました。
ただ、こんな施設を作るくらいなら、電気料金を下げて欲しいと思うのは私だけでしょうか？

何かと原子力発電所にはマイナス要素が多いですが、北海道の電力を支える原子力発電所である泊原発の良さを伝えている施設です。

原子力発電所のＰＲとは大胆

時代に逆行しているようですが、原子力発電をＰＲする場所です。入ると原子力発電愛を感じてしまいます。廃熱利用のプールがあったり、なかなかの施設ですね。お金かかかっています感が伝わってきました。

原子力のほかに古代の出土品も展示されています　科学技術の一つを知るのは大切

北海道電力の泊原子力発電所のPR館です。
原子力発電所は　よく「原発」と略称されますが　このゲンパツの発音は汚い印象を持つ原因の一つじゃないかなと私は思っています。（ゲンハツならだいぶ違うのではないでしょうか(笑)）。
最近の地震の時の北海道のブラックアウトで　泊発電所の停止状態がクローズアップされました。再稼働に賛成であろうが反対であろうが　原子力発電所の中身と原理と問題点と電力の必要性を知らないことには話にならないと私は思っていました。科学技術の一つを知るのは大切なことと思います。
岩内に行った際に立ち寄ってみました。原子力発電の原理の説明などはわかりやすく　また　スタッフの説明も一所懸命でした。また　発電所を建設するときに出てきた古代の出土品も整理されて展示されていました。そうか　この河岸段丘には古代人が住んでいたのか　と興味深く見学しました。
このPR館は発電所から少し離れて道路わきにありますが、事前に予約をするとサイトへの見学することも可能と伺いました。次の機会にはお願いしてみようと思います。

北海道電力のPR施設。地元、岩宇地区の歴史や原子力について学べる。また電力や科学に関わる体験ブースがあって子供も楽しめる。

無料で見学はうれしい。館内きれいで快適、子供も大人も学べる感じで素晴らしい施設でした。室内プールとかあったので、とっても素敵な感じだったので今度は利用したいです。

原子力発電のしくみ、地域の自然と歴史が分かる

国道229号線を西に走っていて、近代的な建物が目にとまり、入館してみました。原子力発電に関する展示だけでなく、子供がエネルギーについて楽しく学べる科学展示や、ニセコ山系や積丹半島の自然や歴史が分かる地域展示などもあり、産出した縄文土器などの展示もありました。スタッフの方の説明を聞きながら、興味深く館内を見て回りました。入館料は無料、駐車場もあります。
