I arrived in about 40 minutes by rental car from the center of Hakodate city. It is located in front of Kikonai Station on the Shinkansen.
There were local specialties and souvenirs on sale in the store, but I couldn't find any produce that was common at the roadside station.

This roadside station is at Kikonai Station, which is a stop on the Hokkaido Shinkansen line on the Hokkaido side and a station on the Dounan Isaribi Railway. You will be greeted by the mascot Kiko at the entrance. Apparently this mascot was born in Aoyama, Tokyo! What a surprise! The restaurant inside the building, Dounan de's, is supervised by Chef Okuda of Alkecchiina in Yamagata. That's also surprising, but they're doing a great job. It's a small facility, but it's new and clean, and there were souvenirs I'd never seen before, so it was fun.
