For such a beautiful place this didn’t meet expectations. When we arrived the doors were still locked and it was after 11am. People were still cleaning and lighting fires. A woman was vacuuming the entrance the first 10 minutes while we were being served. They were not prepared to hit the ground running at 11 to host. It did not set the mood for a good experience. They also set off the fire alarm inside the dinning room area. The cheesecake was good and the wine fair but atmosphere is a big part.

Went for lunch with some work colleagues and it was absolutely one of the best meals we have ever had! The service was impeccable as well. We were seated in the private room overlooking the vinelands and the view took our breath away! I paired my smoked chicken gnocchi with their semi-dry Riesling. I was quick to buy a few bottles after in the nearby shop. The desserts were off the charts with flavours I have never experienced. It was truly a wonderful afternoon.

One of the few adventures out through the pandemic and was totally impressed. Had the 3 Course Dinner with Wine pairing. Our server- Andrea made an amazing dinner such a peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable experience. Unrushed excellence.
Starting with a roasted corn soup that was silky smooth. A lovely start, served with a Riesling that was equally impressive.
The main course was Duck confit that was one of the best ever.
Can't wait to return for another experience.

We visited on a beautiful sunny day, October 22, so we sat outside. The food was fantastic, beautifully presented and served by really pleasant staff, Rebecca and her team, who timed our meal perfectly. The view over the vineyard with Lake Ontario in the distance was spectacular.
We had the charcuterie board, squash soup with Brie, duck confit/steak and a delicious strawberry mousse over shortbread. The chefs did an outstanding job.
When I re-visited the shop to buy some gifts and earrings by Thuy Nguyen, who served me and made us so welcome, the outside patio place was buzzing with people sipping their wine in the sun.
What a great place. We will certainly be back!

Hello there. We are locals here in the Niagara region. We attended the restaurant for dinner. Regretfully, we found that the food fell short of being anything near great for the price if our dinner. The comfort of being nestled in the vineyard itself is very beautiful. Scenery , and service is not enough to justify a large bill. I would of loved having the food being elevated to where it needs to be. $46 for two average tasting lobster rolls is quite alarming. There are other vineyards that deliver for the same cost

We are locals, visited a couple wineries, for flights. First was Vineland Estates, Nov 20 2022, 1220pm. Ordered our flights, then directed upstairs to the seating area. Ceiling fan overhead was on high, making it very cold. Asked if they could turn it down, but employee didn't know how, and never came back. No one came to check on us after they delivered our flights. So we toured the gift shop and left, ....missed opportunity to upsell us. There was only one other couple so it isn't like they were busy. Exact opposite experience compared to Fielding Estates.

The quality and selection of great VQA wines make a visit to this Niagara Escarpment winery a must. The high quality of the wine matches the stunning scenery. A visit to the restaurant will make your trip complete.

It has been 20 years since I got to visit Vineland Estates (kids and life just kinda happen) and upon entering the wine shop, I was immediately taken back to the many previous happy times that I had while visiting. I was amazing to sit in the loft and sample some of their splendid wines and look out over the estate and the Niagara Escarpment. With all of the uncertainty going on on the world, it was a nice reminder that better days lie ahead. Next time we visit, we will be sure to visit the restauruant for an exceptional meal. If you are looking for a place where you can relax and enjoy life, Vineland Estates is an excellent option.

A fantastic venue with an amazing staff who are very knowledgeable. We were welcomed by the owner and his wife. Dave gave us a complete history of the venue and I was very impressed with the cleanliness and the tour we were given. Abeutiful afternoon with good friends.

We stumbled across Vineland when driving back on the 81 from Niagra, and glad we did!
I personally loved a lot of their wines and the staff were very helpful in explaining the different types.
In addition, the surrounding countryside and Vineland building are lovely.
Highly recommend for anyone passing.
