I hiked out here with some friends and had a nice couple of hours relaxing and swimming. The waterfall is very scenic, and the swimming was really nice given the hot weather. I wouldn't recommend going near the end of dry season as there might...More

I had trouble finding an appropriate place to put this review so here it is. I was pulled over two separate times by the Nicaraguan police. The reason I realized later was that they were on the brink of Civil War In April of 3018...More

It's a good hike up or back with charming views. Getting down to the falls is a steep climb down, but opens into a small beach and pond just beneath the fall. Worth the pictures. And your time.

A pretty waterfall with a serene pool at the bottom. Some rocks around the edges to sit on a jump off. People seem to leave a lot of trash here, however; I would suggest the owner use the entrance fees toward hiring someone to clean...More

Went with a guide to this out of the way waterfall. Pretty but not spectacular. Took a long time to get there on an I paved road. If you are in the area then go but don't make a special trip.

Shame about the garbage around the lower pool, but something to get used to in Central America. Went in January (dry season) and there was still quite a bit of water falling. The swim was refreshing after pushing a bicycle 5kms uphill to get to...More

This could be such a great place, the waterfall and surrounding nature is truely remarkable, BUT.... Why pay 25 Córdoba entrance fee If the whole damn place is littered all over? This is a private property we were told by the neighbours and I would...More

The waterfall itself is beautiful. But there's quite a lot of litter at this place. We hiked there from the hospital which is nearby. The hike was about 7km and it takes about an hour to get there. From the entrance it's another 800m. It...More
