National park with the volcano as main attraction. Trail goes along the several places with volcanic activity and also you can see or hear various animals. Park includes 2 hikes to different waterfall each with approximately 5 kilometer length.

Arrived by 9.30. Not too busy. Walked the trails with our young children. Trails clearly marked and very easy to navigate with clearly marked signs. Super interesting and a great place to visit. Highly recommend.

There are two main entrances in this park, the Sta Maria Station and the Palias Station. Both offer nice hiking trails that will lead you past geothermal features. The roads to get to them are kind of rough, I'd recommend something with decent ground clearance...More
