A visit to Monein is not complete without a visit here. The guided visit is well worth it and be sure to check out the goodies at the tourism office just across the street.

Its a nice place, in a really cute village named Monein, an antic church, typical from france, its considerate as a patrimoni and just in front of the church you have de statue made in honor of the soldiers that died in war.

This is a large and very impressive church for a relatively small town. Some of the windows had lovely stained glass and the walls were covered in fleurs de lys on a pale background, so the overall impression was one of light.

The sound and light show in the amazing roof space is worth a trip...1000 oak trees were used and the history of the people involved is interesting
