went here after sunset and snow was falling as i step into the area. was so magical at night because we got to see the lights all around the ice. it wasnt that big but at least you could experience once!

great experience but very cold weather (-20) so prepare warm and wind proof clothes better seen at night because the light makes more interesting

Interesting festival and a must when in Asahikawa for the winter ice festival. The lighting makes it quite photogenic.
