There are many nice ryokans in the area including in the little town called Shibu Onsen or in Yudanaka. Most hotels will provide breakfast if you ask in advance and there are a handful of restaurants in town for lunch and dinner. Most hotel owners will pick you up from the train station and bring you to their hotel as well as the monkey park in the morning if you ask in advance. They are very welcoming to tourists and it is a beautiful place to visit!
