Alyth is a lovely parkland course, its up and down but it never felt tiring or like we had climbed Everest. They had some club competition on before we played and the green keeper had decided to put the pins in some of the hardest places on the greens. The overall condition was excellent, fairways and ruff were cut lovely... More

Just played 1 round. A nice open course with small hills. Not too steepy. As being 1 of 4 courses in the area, It is a east but calculating course. Ask the locals for some adviseur and you will have a lovely time.

First off, the weather was great. Little breeze and clear sky, not too warm but not cold either. Pro shop is good, usual display and very decent prices. Friendly without being overbearing. Clubhouse is fantastic, modern extension in a sympathetic architecture. Course is nothing short of brilliant. Greens were slick and in great nick, fairways great. A really enjoyable round.... More

Alyth gets brownie points for offering a full Sunday bar lunch unlike Minchinhampton which we visited on a Sunday recently and which only had sandwiches in the bar or the carvery - nothing in between. We had time for a quick lunch before playing and thought food and service both pleasant, quick and friendly. As for the course - we... More

Alyth was the only course of the 3 in the area we had not played before. The price we paid (teetimes) was excellent for winter golf. Greens were fantastic for this time of year. Fairways a bit wet in places. Clubhouse facilities were good although beware food is not available until after 10am in winter. Would like to play again... More

Had a great round of golf at Alyth in a business competition. The course although slightly wet was in great condition, particularly the standard of the greens. The Pro' shop was very friendly, as were the members that I spoke to going around the course. Good value and atmosphere.

Played the course and rented clubs. The pro was very pleasant and provided clubs for both my wife and I which were a reasonable set. He provided my wife with his wife's set which turned out to be nice but the men's set was a bit of an eclectic mix but workable. Interesting course and fun to play. Some blind... More

Range of facilities, two courses, well stocked shop, and a driving range. I have nothing more to say, but tripAdvisor insist on at least 50 characters, so I think I have now made that!

My wife and I played the course on 20th September and we were pleasantly surprised with how good the course was and its condition. We had a soup and a roll before we went out which was of good quality and value. Would recommend if all the greens are in play - I don't like winter greens and they were... More
