This dynamic statue of three leaping dolphins is in a tiny roundabout at the intersection of Halitpasa Cd. and Istasyon Cd. It is at the south end of the pier where the Budo ferryboats to/from Istanbul dock (a.k.a. the Budo Medanya Seaport). The dolphins are realistically portrayed, about life-sized, and seem to be joyfully leaping from the waves. It is a fitting greeting to the port town of Mudanya on the southern shore of the Sea of Marmara. Mudanya is about two hours by ferry from Istanbul, with several ferry departures daily. There are several restaurants nearby, as well as the Mudanya taxi stand, ATM machines, and shops. The Budo ferry carpark (a.k.a. Budo Otopark) is about 75m to the northwest. The statue can be viewed at any time, with no entry fee.
